Faculty Canteens

Here, you can find information about Snack Bars, Cafeterias and Cafés in and around Technion City. Some of them have kashrut regulations. There are several cafeterias that serve hot meals and many cafes serving salads, sandwiches, and coffee. The following is a list of these facilities:

Student Union

On the first and the third floor of the Student Union, you can find many private food shops as well as shops for clothes, a pharmacy, Yoghurt, Mandarin Café, Chinese food, Snax, Falafel,, Junta Pub (see below), CaféCafé.

In the Faculty of Computer Science, you will find a Greg Café.

The Technion Greg Café allows students and lecturers to enjoy coffee of excellent quality. It also offers meals and snacks for lunch.

The branch is open seven days a week 7:00 - 20:00.

Food is also served in the Swimming Pool Cafeteria.

-Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday: 5:30 - 23:00

-Monday, Wednesday: 5:30 - 22:00

-Friday: 5:30 - 18:00

-Saturday: 6:00 - 18:00

The menu includes a colorful variety of breakfasts, sandwiches, tempting salads, side dishes, low-calory and healthy dishes as well as main dishes. CaféCafé offers also a huge admirable drink menu with special coffee drinks and alcoholic beverages. Everything is kosher.

Sunday - Thursday: 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Fri: 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Sat: not open at the moment - will open later

On Campus, you will find several Mandarin Cafés:

- In Borowitz Building

In "Mandarin", you can find breakfast, sandwiches and salads made of raw materials, main dishes and business meals, as well as desserts that accompany a cup of coffee.

Next to the transparent hall in the Student Union, you will find the Junta Pub. There, you can drink beer, order food and sometimes even play instruments and sing yourself.

Private Cafés on Campus

Situated next to the Salinger Guesthouse, the DeJur Restaurant is open at lunchtime (11:30 – 17:00) as a self-service restaurant and in the evening from 20:00 - 24:00 as a dairy diner – café.
