Semester Dates
The dates of the Israeli school year may differ from the dates of your home university.
-Fall-Semester : October - end of February (Pre-semester Hebrew Ulpan will start in August)
-Spring-Semester : End of February - middle of July (Pre-semester Hebrew Ulpan will start in January)

Workload per semester
Full-time undergraduate students are typically required to complete approximately 16 credits per semester to be considered full-time students.
- One academic lecture hour (50 minutes) represents one credit point.
- One tutorial or one laboratory hour represents one half credit point.
The courses in the study abroad program can usually be characterized as third and fourth year undergraduate courses. They may be considered elective courses at some colleges. The courses usually comprise periodic homework assignments, a mid-term exam, and a final exam. Some courses involve off-site activities and visits to Israeli industry.
